Ratings: “Scream” Posts Second-Lowest Viewership Total For Halloween Special

MTV’s “Scream” Halloween special failed to ignite substantial interest.

According to live+same-day viewership data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s two-hour broadcast drew a mere 0.14 adults 18-49 rating and 295,000 total viewers.

The figures both rank as the second-lowest in the show’s history. Only the June 20, 2016 broadcast (0.13, 271,000) fared worse in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

“Scream” was recently renewed for a six-episode third season.
