Update: Monday’s “Tonight Show” featured a comedy sketch involving host Jimmy Fallon and “The Voice” coach Blake Shelton.
The premise? Blake Shelton taught Jimmy Fallon how to milk a cow.
The pre-taped segment aired early in Monday’s broadcast, which also featured appearances by Taraji P. Henson, David Harbour, and Phish.

While he is not an officially advertised, in-studio guest, Blake Shelton does appear on Monday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The country superstar and “Voice” coach joins Fallon for a pre-taped “Milk A Cow” sketch.
The segment represents a nice companion to a sketch from this spring, in which Jimmy Fallon took Blake Shelton out for sushi.
The country superstar was outside his comfort zone in that scenario. This time, Fallon represents the fish out of water.
