The Weeknd & Daft Punk, Bastille Enter Top 25 At Hot AC Radio; Train Joins Top 30

As it moves into the Top 10 at the pop and rhythmic radio formats, The Weeknd’s “Starboy (featuring Daft Punk)” soars into the Top 25 at hot adult contemporary radio.

Bastille’s “Good Grief” also secures a Top 25 position on this week’s Mediabase Hot AC chart.

Up nine places, “Starboy” takes #21 on this week’s Hot AC chart. It received ~1,440 spins during the October 2-8 tracking week (+744).

“Good Grief” enjoys a two-place lift to #25. It received ~1,119 spins during the official tracking period (+245).

— “Starboy” and “Good Grief” represent new additions to the Top 25. Train’s “Play That Song,” meanwhile, represents a new Top 30 addition.

Spun ~848 times during the official tracking week (+658), “Play That Song” earns #29 on this week’s chart. It was below the chart at #55 last week.
