Episode three of FOX’s “Pitch” matched last week’s installment in adults 18-49. It endured only a minor drop in total viewership.

The September 22 premiere, meanwhile, drew a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating and 4.23 million total viewers.

While the start itself was disappointing, the retention through week three is a positive sign.
“Pitch” may have only attracted a modest initial audience, but that audience seems to be enjoying the show.

— FOX led into “Pitch” with “Rosewood.” After posting a 0.8 and 3.60 million last week, it managed a 0.9 and 3.77 million this week.
