Ratings: FOX’s “Pitch” Starts Slowly; “Rosewood” Returns Poorly

Pitch [FOX]

Ginny Baker performed poorly in her first start as a Major League pitcher.

FOX’s “Pitch,” the show chronicling the character’s journey, delivered weak ratings for its season premiere.

According to fast national data, Thursday’s episode drew a mere 1.1 adults 18-49 rating and 4.28 million total viewers.

There is no spinning the numbers as positive, but it is certainly fair to address the poor lead-in support provided to “Pitch.”

“Rosewood,” which led into “Pitch,” drew an abysmal 0.7 adults 18-49 rating and 3.59 million total viewers for its second season premiere.
