Ratings: NBC’s “The Voice” Ticks Up In Night Two, “This Is Us” Starts Well

Preliminary data confirms a slight night-to-night increase for NBC’s “The Voice.” It also reveals an impressive premiere performance for acclaimed new drama “This Is Us.”

According to final national data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s “The Voice” drew a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating and 12.15 million total live+same-day viewers.

The numbers narrowly best the 3.3 rating and 12.29 million viewership mark garnered by Monday’s season premiere.

While both numbers are narrowly down from the 3.5 rating and 12.34 million audience mark achieved by the second ninth season episode on September 22, 2015, the demo rating tops that achieved by the second episode of season ten.

Airing on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, the corresponding season ten broadcast posted a 3.0 rating and reached 12.29 million total viewers.

— “The Voice” led into “This Is Us,” which posted an impressive 2.8 adults 18-49 rating and reached 10.07 million total viewers.
