Ratings: FX’s “Atlanta” Dips Only Slightly This Week

Atlanta {FX Networks}

Unlike the previous episode, this week’s “Atlanta” did not post a week-to-week gain in live+same-day viewership.

Its performance was still a very solid one.

According to live+same-day data posted by FX, Tuesday’s “Atlanta” drew a 0.48 adults 18-49 rating and 0.92 million total viewers. The numbers are down — but not at all to a problematic extent — from the 0.56 rating and 1.07 million viewer mark garnered by last week’s broadcast.

Modest in any context, the drop is particularly understandable (and tolerable) given the heightened competition faced by this week’s episode.

Earlier this week, FX issued second season renewals to “Atlanta” and fellow comedy “Better Things.”
