While it cedes its rhythmic radio throne, Tory Lanez’ “LUV” ascends to #1 on the Mediabase urban airplay chart.

“LUV” received ~4,296 spins during the September 11-17 tracking week. Up 347 spins from last week’s count, the tally brings “LUV” from #2 to #1.

Also up one place, Usher’s “No Limit (featuring Young Thug)” takes #2. It received ~3,956 tracking period plays (+18).

Drake’s “Controlla,” which spent several weeks at #1, falls two places to #3 on this week’s chart. The “Views” single received ~3,938 weekly spins (-114).

Rihanna’s “Needed Me” holds at #4 with ~3,679 spins (-48), while DJ Khaled’s “For Free (featuring Drake)” retains #5 on the strength of its ~3,476 spins (-129).
