Drake’s “Controlla” Spends Fifth Week As Urban Radio’s #1 Song

Drake’s “Controlla” continues to rule the Mediabase urban airplay chart.

Spun ~4,051 times during the September 4-10 tracking period, “Controlla” earns a fifth consecutive week at #1. This week’s spin count trails last week’s mark by a substantial 387 plays but keeps “Controlla” roughly 100 spins ahead of the #2 song.

Up four places from last week’s position, Tory Lanez’ “LUV” is this week’s #2 song. It received ~3,950 weekly spins (+312) and seems poised to reach #1 next week.

Usher’s “No Limit (featuring Young Thug)” falls one place to #3; it received ~3,937 weekly spins (-79). Rihanna’s “Needed Me” drops a spot to #4 with ~3,729 spins (-169), while DJ Khaled’s “For Free (featuring Drake)” dips one place to #5 courtesy its ~3,602 spins (-169).
