In rising from #43 to #30, The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” represents the highest ranking addition to the Top 40 at hot adult contemporary radio.

It is not the only addition. Rob Thomas’ “Pieces” and Lindsey Stirling’s “Something Wild (featuring Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness” also earn Top 40 positions on Mediabase’s Hot AC chart.

Spun 341 times during the August 21-27 tracking week (+24), “Pieces” rises two places to #39.

“Something Wild” directly follows at #40. Up four places from last week’s position, it received 340 tracking period spins (+73).

— As “Pieces” and “Something Wild” move into the Top 40, Bon Jovi’s “This House Is Not For Sale” and O.A.R.’s “I Go Through” reach the Top 50.

Played 275 times during the tracking week (+140), “House” ranks as the Mediabase Hot AC panel’s #43 song. It was #52 last week.

“I Go Through” enjoys a one-place lift to #50. It received 178 weekly spins (+39).
