Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” Remains #1 At Hot AC Radio

There is no movement inside the Top 10 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart — all ten songs are positioned as they were last week.

That means Sia’s “Cheap Thrills (featuring Sean Paul)” is once again the format’s #1 song.

“Cheap Thrills” earns a second week on top thanks to the ~6,927 spins it received during the August 21-27 tracking period (-22). Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” holds at #2 with ~6,812 plays (-90), while Adele’s “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” stays #3 on the strength of its ~6,667 spins (-177).

P!nk’s “Just Like Fire (~6,061, -253) and twenty one pilots’ “Ride” (~5,812, +72) respectively remain #4 and #5.

Like they did last week, X Ambassadors’ “Unsteady” (#6), The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya)” (#7), Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For (featuring Rihanna)” (#8), Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore (featuring Selena Gomez)” (#9), and Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” (#10) form the balance of the Top 10.
