Laura Marano, Gabby Douglas Added To Miss America Judging Panel

A popular singer-actress and an Olympic gold medalist have been added to this year’s Miss America judging panel.

ABC confirms that Laura Marano and Gabby Douglas will join previously confirmed judges Mark Cuban, Sara Foster, Cole Swindell, and Sharlene Wells Hawkes. Additional judges are still to be confirmed.

“Miss America has been such an amazing event for so many years, and I am excited to have the opportunity to judge the competition this year,” said Douglas. “The contestants are a great example of strong women across America, and I especially look forward to hearing the platforms that each of them will represent!”

The 96th Annual Miss America pageant takes place on Sunday, September 11. Emanating from Atlantic City, it will air on ABC at 9PM ET.
