Sia & Sean Paul’s “Cheap Thrills” Stays #1 At Pop Radio; Adele’s “Send My Love” Enters Top 5

Sia [Tonight Show | NBC]

The reign continues for Sia’s “Cheap Thrills (featuring Sean Paul),” which tops the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart for a fifth consecutive week.

The smash hit received a format-leading ~18,401 spins during the August 14-20 tracking period. While that trails last week’s count by a non-trivial 583 spins, it keeps “Cheap Thrills” comfortably atop the pack.

twenty one pilots’ “Ride,” which moves into the #2 position, received ~17,674 tracking period spins (+313).

Down one spot, Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For (featuring Rihanna)” takes #3. The Taylor Swift co-write received ~17,532 weekly spins (-185).

Up three places, Adele’s “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” reaches #4 on this week’s chart. The “25” single, which received ~12,652 weekly spins (+1,327), is making its first appearance in the Top 5.

The Chainsmokers’ enduring “Don’t Let Me Down” slips one spot to #5 with a weekly spin count of ~11,907 (-1,114).

— Not simply the leader at pop radio, “Send My Love” also moves to #1 on the Mediabase hot adult contemporary chart.
