Sia “Cheap Thrills” Reaches #1 At Hot AC Radio As Pop Reign Continues

As it celebrates a fifth week as pop radio’s #1 song, Sia’s “Cheap Thrills (featuring Sean Paul)” concurrently moves to the top of the Mediabase hot adult contemporary listing.

Up two places, “Cheap Thrills” takes #1 on the strength of its ~6,949 weekly spins (+110).

It seizes the throne from Adele’s “Send My Love (To Your New Lover),” which falls to #3 this week. “Send My Love” garnered ~6,844 spins during the August 14-20 tracking week (-178).

Sandwiched between the two is Justin Timberlake’s enduring “Can’t Stop The Feeling.” The “Trolls” soundtrack single received ~6,902 tracking period spins (+5).

P!nk’s “Just Like Fire” holds at #4 with ~6,314 weekly plays (-204), while twenty one pilots’ “Ride” stays #5 thanks to a spin count of ~5,740 (+142).
