In just its fifth week on the Mediabase active rock airplay chart, The Pretty Reckless’ “Take Me Down” soars into the Top 5.

Played ~1,403 times during the August 7-13 tracking week, the lead “Who You Selling For” single enjoys a two-place lift to #5. This week’s spin count bests last week’s by a healthy 153 plays, which represents the greatest gain for a song that was available last week.

Only Green Day’s new “Bang Bang,” which received 553 first week spins, can technically claim a greater week-to-week lift.

“Take Me Down” is the week’s only addition to the Top 5.

The Top 10 also welcomes a single addition. Up one place, Prophets Of Rage’s self-titled debut single earns #10 on this week’s chart.

It received ~1,030 spins during the official tracking period (+142), which marked its fourth week on the chart.
