On July 25, 2016, the RIAA issued multi-platinum certifications to a pair of recent Rihanna singles.

“Needed Me” and “Bitch Better Have My Money,” those singles, were both crowned double platinum in the United States.

Double platinum singles boast US unit totals of at least 2 million. Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, each unit is equal to either 1 paid download or 150 streams.

The certifications extend Rihanna’s lead for the greatest number of digital single certifications. She is now credited with 108 million in certified units.
