Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” Reaches 3X Platinum In The United States

Lukas Graham [Chapman Baehler for WB Records]

Lukas Graham’s worldwide breakthrough “7 Years” has attained multi-platinum status in the United States.

The smash hit, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, was upgraded to triple platinum on July 27, 2016.

The certification confirms a US unit total of 3 million. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

A chart-topper at pop and hot adult contemporary radio, “7 Years” has been a particularly strong seller for the 2016 market. It is the year’s second-best-seller in the US; only Flo Rida’s “My House” has sold more digital downloads.
