Sia & Sean Paul’s “Cheap Thrills” Claims #1 At Pop Radio For Third Week

Making good on mid-week projections, Sia’s “Cheap Thrills (featuring Sean Paul)” comfortably earns a third week atop the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

“Cheap Thrills” received ~19,225 spins during the July 31-August 6 tracking week. Up by 111 from last week’s count, the tally gives bests that of the #2 song by nearly 1,400 plays.

Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For (featuring Rihanna),” again that #2 song, received ~17,846 spins during the official tracking period (+327).

Steadiness is the theme of this week’s Top 5. In addition to the #1 and #2 songs, the week’s #3, #4, and #5 song are positioned as they were last week.

Again #3, twenty one pilots’ “Ride” received ~17,117 weekly spins (+964). A weekly spin count of ~14,122 (-1,163) keeps The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya)” at #4, while Drake’s “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla)” stays #5 on the strength of its ~13,233 weekly plays (-1,290).
