Ratings: MTV’s “Scream” Slips Again

MTV’s “Scream” suffered a third straight week-to-week decline in adults 18-49. It was down for the fourth consecutive week in live+same-day viewership.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s episode drew a 0.15 adults 18-49 rating and 352,000 total viewers. The numbers trail the 0.16 rating and 362,000 viewership figure drawn last week.

Since posting a 0.20 rating and 446,000 viewership figure for the June 28 episode, which marked the series’ return to its original Tuesday at 10PM timeslot, “Scream” has endured four consecutive losses in total viewership. Its adults 18-49 rating rose to a 0.22 rating for the following episode; the subsequent three episodes then suffered declines.

From a live+same-day standpoint, this Tuesday’s episode was the show’s second-lowest rated episode yet. It was the third-worst performer in total viewership.
