Katy Perry’s “Rise” Ranks As Hot AC Radio’s Most Added Song

It may be an Olympics anthem rather than the lead single from her new album, but “Rise” is still a Katy Perry song.

Predictably, it still earned a healthy amount of impact week support at Hot AC radio.

Picked up by 26 Mediabase-monitored stations this week, “Rise” ranks as the Hot AC format’s most added song. Its count more than doubles that of the week’s second-most added single.

James Bay’s “Hold Back The River,” that single, received 11 weekly adds. Wrabel’s “11 Blocks” takes third with 10 adds, while add counts of 9 position Fitz And The Tantrums’ “HandClap” and Lukas Graham’s “Mama Said” in a tie for fourth.

This week’s other notable Hot AC options: Britney Spears’ “Make Me (featuring G-Eazy)” (8 adds, 6th), Florida Georgia Line’s “H.O.L.Y.” (7 adds, 7th), The 1975’s “The Sound” (6 adds, 8th), Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore (featuring Selena Gomez)” (5 adds, 9th, tie), Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” (5 adds, 9th, tie) and The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya)” (5 adds, 9th, tie).
