Hailee Steinfeld & Grey’s “Starving” Received Pop Airplay From Radio Disney, KIIS, 99-7 Now

While its media attention and iTunes activity may have paled in comparison to that of Britney Spears’ “Make Me,” Katy Perry’s “Rise,” and 5 Seconds Of Summer’s “Girls Talk Boys,” Hailee Steinfeld & Grey’s new “Starving (featuring Zedd)” received some opening day exposure at pop radio.

That exposure came from of America’s biggest pop stations.

Radio Disney played the song 9 times, while Los Angeles’ 102.7 KIIS and San Francisco’s 99-7 NOW each contributed 4 opening day spins.

San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9, Philadelphia’s Q102, Philadelphia’s 96.5 AMP, and Visalia’s HITZ 104.9 each played the song three times, while other stations offered two first day spins.

Like each of the aforementioned songs — and four others — “Starving” is impacting pop radio in conjunction with the July 19 add board.
