Drake’s “Controlla” Enters Top 10 at Rhythmic Radio; DJ Khaled & Drake, Wale Enter Top 15

Drake, whose “One Dance” remains #1 on the Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart, concurrently reaches #10 with “Controlla.” He is also featured on DJ Khaled’s “For Free,” which moves to #11 on this week’s chart.

Spun ~3,316 times during the June 19-25 tracking period (+755), “Controlla” rises two places to the aforementioned #10 peak. “For Free,” which received ~2,916 tracking week spins, is up five places from last week’s position.

This week’s “For Free” spin count bests last week’s by 992, which represents the rhythmic format’s greatest weekly gain. The 755 gain enjoyed by “Controlla” is the week’s fourth-greatest.

“For Free” is not the week’s only addition to the Top 15. Wale’s “My PYT,” which was #17 on last week’s chart, enjoys a two-place lift to #15 this week. It received ~2,069 weekly spins (+449).
