Ariana Grande’s “Into You” Impacting Rhythmic Radio June 28

Sunday brought confirmation that Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” reached the Top 10 at rhythmic radio.

Monday brought confirmation that follow-up “Into You” will soon impact the format.

Republic’s radio team has announced that “Into You” will go for rhythmic radio adds on June 28.

No official impact date was provided for the pop format, where the song has already started to gain traction. It was this past week’s 45th-most-played pop song, with 102 Mediabase-monitored stations providing airplay.

Its formal radio push has been delayed, at least in part, by the endurance of the “Dangerous Woman” title track (which is still rising at pop), but “Into You” has long been known to fans, radio programmers and music industry members as Grande’s next official single.

The official video was released back on May 23. It has since amassed nearly 70 million views.
