Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” Arrives 6/3; Impacts Pop 6/7, Hot AC 6/13

Republic has confirmed radio impact dates for Shawn Mendes’ new single “Treat You Better,” which arrives June 3.

According to the label’s radio team, it will go for pop adds in conjunction with the June 7 add board. While June 7 is the earliest available “adds date” for a song that arrives on June 3, “Treat You Better” will likely receive pop airplay right out of the gate.

The single will then go for hot adult contemporary adds on June 13.

“Treat You Better” is the direct follow-up to his Camila Cabello duet “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” which reached the Top 10 at pop radio. Previous single “Stitches” reached #1 on the pop chart — and later did the same at hot adult contemporary.
