Gwen Stefani’s “Misery” Gaining Airplay at Hot AC Radio

Gwen Stefani’s new single “Misery” officially goes for hot adult contemporary radio adds today.

In advance of that impact, a few stations have been spinning the song.

New York’s Fresh 102.7 remains the leader, although it interestingly reduced its airplay this past week. It played “Misery” 14 times over the trailing days, down from the 16 spins it provided during the previous frame.

Corpus Christi’s The Beach 96.5, Atlantic City’s SoJo 104.9 and Philadelphia’s Mix 106.1, on the other hand, all initiated airplay. The former two played the song 7 times over the past seven days, while the Philly station offered 2 spins.

“Misery” is the follow-up to “Make Me Like You,” which peaked at #14 on the Mediabase Hot AC chart.
