KONGOS’ “Take It From Me” Erupts As Most Added at Alternative Radio

“Take It From Me,” the lead single from KONGOS’ forthcoming album “Egomaniac,” easily lands atop the weekly alternative radio add board.

The band’s new single was added by 32 Mediabase-monitored alternative stations in conjunction with this week’s official impact. The impressive count quadruples the 8 adds attained by Cage The Elephant’s “Trouble,” the week’s next-most added song.

Picked up by 7 stations, Disturbed’s “The Sound Of Silence” earns third place on the add board. Bishop’s “River” takes fourth with 6 adds, while The Avett Brothers’ “Ain’t No Man” and Weezer’s “King Of The World” tie for fifth with 5 adds each.

BROODS’ “Free,” Dreamers’ “Drugs,” Elle King’s “America’s Sweetheart,” and Fitz And The Tantrums’ “HandClap” follow in a four-way tie for seventh-most added. Each was added by 3 stations.
