Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” Spends 5th Week as Hot AC’s #1 Song; DNCE Joins Top 5

“Love Yourself,” which last month became Justin Bieber’s first #1 at the hot adult contemporary radio format, is now enjoying its fifth consecutive week atop Mediabase’s Hot AC chart.

Bieber’s “Purpose” single repeats at #1 thanks to a weekly spin count of ~6,824. While that trails last week’s mark by 57, it keeps the song ahead of the pack.

Charlie Puth’s “One Call Away,” again its closest competition, remains the runner-up with a weekly spin count of ~6,576 (+309).

Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” rises one place to #3 with ~6,182 spins (+246), while twenty one pilots’ former #1 “Stressed Out” declines one place to #4. It earned ~6,055 tracking week spins (+39).

Up one place, DNCE’s “Cake By The Ocean” reaches a new peak of #5 this week. The band’s debut single received ~5,424 weekly plays (+284).
