Jason Derulo’s “If It Ain’t Love” Received 935 Day One Pop Radio Spins

Despite not emerging until the sixth day of the March 27-April 2 tracking period, Jason Derulo’s “If It Ain’t Love” should be able to notch a Top 40 position on the weekly Mediabase pop airplay chart.

Thanks to the combination of programmer enthusiasm and promotional launch day support, which included airplay on the hour or every other hour at a myriad of pop stations, “If It Ain’t Love” received 935 spins on April 1.

The count slots “If It Ain’t Love” at #37 on Mediabase’s building pop chart, which ranks songs based on airplay for the first six days of the tracking week.

While “If It Ain’t Love” will not receive as many spins on Saturday, it should receive enough to remain inside the Top 40 as the chart goes final (especially since The Weeknd’s building #20 “In The Night” is due to be removed as a recurrent this week).

Derulo will perform “If It Ain’t Love” at Sunday’s iHeartRadio Music Awards. He is also hosting the ceremony.
