Dove Cameron’s cover of “Genie In A Bottle” premiered during the Friday, March 18 edition of “Stuck In The Middle.”

By the evening of Wednesday, March 23, it had amassed over three million views on YouTube.

Per the latest YouTube update, the view count now stands at 3,080,748.

In addition to the actress’ own profile, the video taps into the popularity of Disney Channel’s “Descendants” movie. Cameron reprises her role of Mal for the clip.

Given how well numerous “Descendants” soundtrack songs performed on YouTube, the early interest in the new video is the epitome of unsurprising.

Along with posting the video, Walt Disney Records made the audio track available for purchase and streaming at the major digital stores. Following its release, “Genie In A Bottle” entered the Top 200 on the US iTunes sales chart. It is currently #194.

Radio Disney has also provided a handful of spins; through Tuesday, March 22, Cameron’s family-friendly take on the Christina Aguilera classic had been played nine times.
