CBS Cancels “Person Of Interest;” Final Season Premieres May 3, Ends June 21

CBS has officially confirmed what many TV analysts expected and what many fans dreaded.

The upcoming fifth season of “Person Of Interest” will be its last.

The move seemed inevitable once fall — and then the winter months — passed without news regarding the show’s fifth season premiere. It was not until today that CBS announced the drama’s return.

That return, which comes in the form of the fifth and final season premiere, is slated for Tuesday, May 3.

“Person Of Interest” will then air twice a week — on Monday and Tuesday at 10PM — beginning on May 9.

The series will conclude with a one-hour finale on Tuesday, June 21.
