Columbia Still Says Little Mix’s “Secret Love Song” Is Coming Soon to US Pop Radio

Little Mix [CR: FOX]

While the label has not yet provided an impact date, Columbia Records maintains that Little Mix’s Top 5 UK sales hit “Secret Love Song (featuring Jason Derulo)” is headed to US pop radio.

The song once again appeared under the “coming soon” column of the label’s promotional pop newsletter. “Secret Love Song” has been featured in that area since the newsletter dated February 15.

Little Mix last achieved a notable US radio presence with the Top 25 pop single “Black Magic.” Like “Secret Love Song,” “Black Magic” appears on the group’s “Get Weird.”

In its initial “coming soon” announcement, Columbia noted that “Secret Love Song” was receiving early attention at a handful of pop stations. It does not appear that airplay has meaningfully grown (and “Secret Love Song” has not received any recent “adds” at pop radio stations), but progress should not be expected until Columbia begins its formal push.
