The 1975’s “The Sound” Re-Enters Bubbling Under Hot 100, Jonas Blue & Dakota Debut

The 1975 [NBC]

In conjunction with the release of the band’s “i like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it,” The 1975’s “The Sound” returns to the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.

The song, which was performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” just as the tracking week was beginning, grabs #3 on the chart, which ranks the top songs that have yet to appear on the actual Hot 100.

Like the Hot 100, Bubbling Under measures songs based on combined activity from sales, streaming, and radio.

Among the debuts on this week’s Bubbling Under chart is Jonas Blue’s “Fast Car (featuring Dakota).” The song, which is a modern take on Tracy Chapman’s song and a hit in international markets, debuts at #7 on Bubbling Under.
