Live + Same-Day Ratings: “The People v. OJ Simpson” Slips In Week Four, Still Wins Night

People v OJ [FX]

In terms of live+same-day ratings, Tuesday’s “The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story” slipped from the previous week’s performance.

Nielsen L+SD data says Tuesday’s episode, which was the series’ fourth broadcast, drew a 1.28 rating and 2.988 million total viewers. Last week’s episode drew a 1.35 and 3.331 million.

The decline did not, however, knock “American Crime Story” from atop the cable leaderboard. Among adults 18-49, it again ranked as Tuesday’s top-rated cable original.

A stellar live+same-day performer, “People v. OJ Simpson” has also been posting significant DVR gains. FX maintains that it looks only at delayed ratings data (live+3, live+7, etc) when assessing performance.
