While Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” did not receive the biggest Grammys-related sales boost, it arguably received the most impressive one.

The song, which long ago completed its radio run and had already sold over 2 million copies, still managed a near-800% gain in weekly sales in conjunction with the Grammys performance.

According to Nielsen Music, “Girl Crush” sold 48,849 US copies during the February 12-18 tracking week. The count, which is enough for #17 on Digital Songs, bests the previous week’s mark by a whopping 787%.

It brings the song’s cumulative US total to 2,058,371.

Little Big Town performed the song at last Monday’s 58th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony. The song also won two country genre Grammys and was nominated for the all-genre Song Of The Year prize.
