Rihanna’s performance, reportedly to be “Kiss It Better,” represented one of the most eagerly anticipated elements of the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.

It will, unfortunately, not be happening.

TMZ broke the news that Rihanna, who is suffering from bronchitis, has withdrawn from her performance and left the STAPLES Center.

While Rihanna wanted to perform, an on-site doctor urged that she cancel. He cautioned that singing would create a risk of permanent vocal damage.
