Instagram Post Teases Beyonce Performance At Grammys

In a press release announcing the artists’ involvement, CBS and the Recording Academy claimed Alabama Shakes, Joey Alexander, and Miguel represented the final additions to the Grammy Awards performer lineup.

Few took that claim literally. They may have represented the final names to receive a formal press release, but they were not going to be the absolute final additions to the card.

Indeed, Headline Planet broke the news Friday night that Tyrese was joining the Lionel Richie tribute performance. CBS and the Academy had previously only confirmed Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan, Meghan Trainor, John Legend, and Richie himself for the segment.

Late Saturday night, Billboard potentially revealed another addition to the card. It is an addition of the marquee variety.

While Beyonce had always been scheduled to attend the annual ceremony, the fact that he has an actual dressing room suggests a bigger involvement — most likely in the form of a performance.

Neither CBS nor the Recording Academy has officially confirmed a performance or presenter role for the superstar.

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony airs Monday at 8PM ET/5PM ET on CBS.
