Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” Debuts With 214.7K Sales, Takes #6 on Hot 100

Despite not emerging until the second day of the January 29-February 4 tracking week, Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” still lands at #2 on the Digital Songs chart.

According to Nielsen Music, the lead “Views from the 6” single sold 214,677 US copies during its first week of release. The tally was the week’s second-best; only ZAYN’s “PILLOWTALK” (267,260) sold more.

Powered by that sales total as well as limited first week streams and airplay, “Summer Sixteen” takes #6 on the all-encompassing Hot 100.

It is his sixteenth Top 10 hit.
