Ratings: MTV’s “The Shannara Chronicles” Slips, “Teen Wolf” Rises

MTV’s “The Shannara Chronicles” turned away some — but not all — of the previous week’s gains.

According to Nielsen cable data, the February 2 episode drew a 0.44 adults 18-49 rating and 969,000 total viewers. The numbers trail the 0.49 rating and 1.029 million viewer mark posted by the previous episode but remain well above the 0.31 and 751,000 drawn by the January 19 edition.

Lead-in “Teen Wolf,” meanwhile, posted week-to-week gains in both columns.

This Tuesday’s episode managed a 0.45 rating and 971,000 viewers. Last week’s was good for a 0.44 with 916,000.
