The Strumbellas’ “Spirits” Repeats as Alternative Radio’s Most Added Song

The Strumbellas [Windish]

For the second straight week — and third time in four weeks — The Strumbellas’ “Spirits” claims the top spot on the alternative radio add board.

This week’s most added honor comes thanks to pickups from 15 Mediabase-monitored alternative stations.

“Spirits” appears at #22 on the most recent Mediabase airplay chart, and with support continuing to mount, there is nothing to suggest its climb will cease.

Picked up by 12 stations, Empire Of The Sun’s “Walking On A Dream” is the week’s second-most added song. Twenty One Pilots’ “Ride” takes third with 11 adds, while Panic! At The Disco’s “Victorious” (7 adds, 4th) and AWOLNATION’s “Woman Woman” (6 adds, 5th) complete the Top 5.

This week’s other notable alt radio options: Miike Snow’s “Genghis Khan” (5 adds, 6th, tie), The Wombats’ “Give Me A Try” (5 adds, 6th, tie), Florence + The Machine’s “Delilah” (4 adds, 8th, tie), Kurt Vile’s “Pretty Pimpin” (4 adds, 8th, tie), AudioDamn!’s “Radar” (3 adds, 10th, tie), Bring Me The Horizon’s “Follow You” (3 adds, 10th, tie), Chef’s Special’s “In Your Arms” (3 adds, 10th, tie), Declan McKenna’s “Brazil” (3 adds, 10th, tie), Elle King’s “Under The Influence” (3 adds, 10th, tie), Holy White Hounds’ “Switchblade” (3 adds, 10th, tie), Tame Impala’s “The Less I Know The Better” (3 adds, 10th, tie), and The Struts’ “Kiss This” (3 adds, 10th, tie).
