Grease Live’s “Those Magic Changes,” “There Are Worse Things” Rise on iTunes Sales Chart

A smash ratings hit, FOX’s “Grease Live!” also generated interest in its soundtrack. Numerous songs climbed into the Top 500 on the US iTunes sales chart, several reached the Top 200, and one is presently positioned inside the Top 50.

“Those Magic Feelings,” that song, is #43 as of 2AM ET on February 2 — roughly 25 hours after the conclusion of the west coast broadcast.

The number is credited to Jordan Fisher, Aaron Tveit and the Grease Live Cast.

Vanessa Hudgens’ “There Are Worse Things I Could Do” is the next-highest charting number. The Rizzo ballad is presently #117 on the chart.

“Grease (Is The Word),” performed by Jessie J & the Grease Live Cast, follows at #151. “You’re The One I Want” by Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit and the Grease Live Cast is #156, while “Summer Nights” — billed to the same group of performers — is #167.

Julianne Hough’s “Hopelessly Devoted To You” is #190, ahead of Aaron Tveit’s “Sandy” (#223), Aaron Tveit, Carlos PenaVega and the Grease Live Cast’s “Greased Lightning” (#265), and Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit and the Grease Live Cast’s “We Go Together” (#285).
