Ben Rector, A Great Big World, The Band Perry Join Hot AC Radio’s Top 30

It was just last week that Ben Rector’s “Brand New” reached the Top 40 at hot adult contemporary radio.

This week, it scores a Top 30 position on the Mediabase Hot AC chart.

Spun 597 times during the official January 24-30 tracking week (+129), “Brand New” jumps nine places to a new peak of #28.

“Brand New” is one of three additions to the Top 30.

Up six places, A Great Big World’s “Oasis” takes #29 on this week’s chart. The song received the same 597 weekly plays as Rector’s tune but loses the tiebreaker (its weekly spin gain of 110 trails the 129 posted by “Brand New”).

While it is no longer being actively promoted by Republic, The Band Perry’s “Live Forever” still enjoys a lift on this week’s chart. Up one place, the country crossover takes #30 with ~595 weekly plays (-34)
