Ratings: “Baskets” Premiere Draws 1.04M Viewers, Tops “Comedians,” “SDRR”

Baskets [FX]

FX’s critically acclaimed “Baskets” was not a live+same-day ratings blockbuster, but it did outperform two recent FX comedy launches.

In drawing a 0.46 adults 18-49 rating and 1.035 million total viewers, “Baskets” comfortably topped “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll” and “The Comedians.”

The former, which was ultimately renewed for season two, launched this summer with a 0.35 rating and 867,000 total viewers. The latter, which was ultimately cancelled, debuted with a 0.37 and 878,000 total viewers.

Among adults 18-49, “Baskets” was cable television’s top scripted original.
