Charlie Puth, Weezer, Backstreet Boys Performing On “Undateable Live”

While all but one of this season’s “Undateable Live” episodes have featured musical guests, NBC has not been aggressive about advertising those performers.

The approach evidently changed in conjunction with the new year; the network issued a press release confirming musical guests for three upcoming episodes.

Charlie Puth will perform on the January 8, 2016 episode, which marks the comedy’s return from a holiday hiatus. Weezer will take the “Undateable” stage on January 15, while the Backstreet Boys will sing on the January 29 installment.

“Undateable” musical guests perform during the opening and closing credits; as proven by October 30 guest Meghan Trainor, they may also cameo during the comedy portion of the show.

Beyond Trainor, other previous “Undateable” musical guests include Nico & Vinz, Kodaline, Saint Motel, American Authors, Alessia Cara, and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness.
