Meghan Trainor’s “Lips Are Movin” Reaches 4X Platinum in the United States

On December 3, 2015, Meghan Trainor’s debut album “Title” received a platinum certification from the RIAA.

Eight days later, the album’s second single ascended to a new level of multi-platinum.

December 11, 2015 brought a 4x platinum certification for Trainor’s “Lips Are Movin.” The distinction confirms a US unit total of at least 4 million; one unit is equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams.

As “Lips” had only previously been certified 2x platinum, it also received a retroactive 3x platinum honor.

“Lips Are Movin” is one of three multi-platinum singles to Trainor’s credit. Her breakthrough “All About That Bass” is presently 9x platinum, while “Dear Future Husband” is up to 2x platinum.
