The song, which concurrently enters the Top 20 at pop radio and Top 30 at hot adult contemporary radio, again ranks as the alternative format’s most-played song.
This week’s victory comes courtesy the ~3,321 plays “Stressed Out” received during the December 6-12 tracking week (+34).
Cold War Kids’ “First,” again its closest competition, follows distantly with ~2,588 weekly plays (-50).
Death Cab For Cutie’s “The Ghosts Of Beverly Drive” (#3, +1 | ~2,324, -44) and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats’ “SOB” (#4, – 1 | ~2,297, -88) follow at #3 and #4, respectively, while Cage The Elephant’s “Mess Around” rises to #5.
Up one place, “Mess Around” received ~2,182 tracking week spins (+94).
