Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital single program, the platinum certification confirms a US unit total of at least 6 million. One unit is equal to one paid download or 100 streams.
Collectively, Rihanna’s singles have received certifications for 101 million digital units. The total positions Rihanna as the RIAA’s most-certified digital act ever.
