Mockingjay Part 2 [LGF]

The Friday US box office race played out in the same fashion as the Thursday and Wednesday battles. “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” took first place, while “The Good Dinosaur” and “Creed” grabbed second and third, respectively.

Now in its second week of release, “Mockingjay” earned $21.3 million at the Friday box office. That gave it the edge over “Good Dinosaur” ($15.7 million) and “Creed” ($11.7 million), which were both in their third days of release.

Since launching last weekend, “Mockingjay” has grossed $168.0 million at the domestic box office. “Good Dinosaur” and “Creed,” which launched on Thanksgiving Eve, have earned $32.0 million and $24.2 million, respectively.

“Spectre” ($5.3 million) and “The Peanuts Movie” ($4.0 million) completed Friday’s Top 5.
