Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop” Certified 10X Platinum, “Can’t Hold Us” 6X

November 19, 2015 brought a handful of RIAA digital single certifications for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

One of those was of the diamond variety.

The RIAA confirms that Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ breakthrough “Thrift Shop (featuring Wanz)” is now 10x platinum in the United States. The 10x certification confirms a US unit total of at least 10 million.

One unit is defined as 1 paid download or 100 streams.

“Thrift Shop” also retroactively received 8x and 9x platinum certifications on 11/19.

The duo additionally earned a 6x platinum certification (and a retroactive 5x distinction) for “Can’t Hold Us (featuring Ray Dalton),” which confirms a US unit total of at least 6 million.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis also received the following certifications:

3x Platinum (3 million units): Same Love (featuring Mary Lambert)
Gold (500,000 units): Downtown (featuring Eric Nally, Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee, and Grandmaster Caz)
Gold (500,000 units): Wing$
