Gwen Stefani’s “Used To Love You,” R. City’s “Make Up” Added By New York’s Z100

One is the new single from a veteran music superstar (and “The Voice” coach). One is the follow-up to a #1 pop radio hit.

As of this week, both have been formally added to the Z100 playlist.

New York’s #1 Hit Music Station picked up Gwen Stefani’s “Used To Love You” and R. City’s “Make Up (featuring Chloe Angelides).”

Released last month, “Used To Love You” has received a warm early reception at the hot adult contemporary and pop radio formats. It is currently inside the Top 25 at the former and Top 30 at the latter.

“Make Up” is the follow-up to R. City’s breakthrough “Locked Away (featuring Adam Levine).” Given the success of the single — and the fact that Z100 was an early “Locked Away” supporter — the “Make Up” add is unsurprising.
