Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” Sold 129.3K in Week Two; US Sales Total Now 406K

While it suffered a 53% week-to-week decline, Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” still posted a solid, six-figure sales total during the October 30-November 5 tracking week.

It also advanced past the 400,000 cumulative US sales mark — in just its second week of availability.

According to Nielsen Music, “Sorry” sold 129,299 US copies during the aforementioned tracking week. Enough for a #3 position on the Digital Songs chart (behind Adele’s “Hello” and Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey”), the weekly tally results in a cumulative sales mark of 406,126.

“Sorry” is the second single from Justin Bieber’s “Purpose,” which officially launches on Friday, November 13.

— Even as attention shifts to “Sorry,” Bieber’s lead “Purpose” single “What Do You Mean?” is still generating paid downloads. The track sold 58,337 copies during the October 30-November 5 tracking week, which brought its cume to 1,164,832.
